On iPhone 6+ the app is not stable. It often closes completely and unexpectedly and the user must start over and navigate back from the start screen. This started when ads were introduced. Just updated to iOS 8.3. App still unstable.

Zdnet has a long and sordid history of writing the flakiest apps available for iOS. Crashing on scrolling seems to be their forte. It's a bit ironic for a tech company, but I suppose those who can't write code can always write about those who can.

Can't open the app. Always crashes right after you close the opening ad that pops up.

This is the only tech news app I have that requires you to dismiss a full-page ad just to open it. All that, just to access the most uninspired and boring tech news I've seen. I hardly ever open this, and when I do I never find anything I want to read. I think I'll just delete it.

They have added a splash ad, and I think that is causing the app instability. I close the ad, the topics load, then it crashes. Or, I click on a topic and it loads a different one because the topic list you see is not up to date, but what pulls up is the new 5th one down (example). The list doesn't refresh until you exit the article you never saw or meant to choose... Confused? So is this app.
