Adding Dictionaries Adding DictionariesI never had trouble with adding more dictionaries, but now it won't show up to let me pick which dictionary I want. Shows nothing! Please fix this problem of the different dictionaries not showing up. Thanks.

50 dictionaries in one app 50 dictionaries in one appThe app comes with 50 or so open-source or out-of-copyright dictionaries. It takes a little work to understand how to enable those you want and disable those you don't. You can also download and install other opendict dictionaries if you'd like. In my case, I read a lot of Dickens and other fiction from the 1800s. The included complete Websters 1915 has a ton of old-fashioned words and definitions that newer dictionaries have long abandoned as archaic. There are also many, many language conversion dictionaries, French-to-English, German-to-Latvian, Greek-to-Hebrew, etc etc. The interface is ulgyish, and it takes a little time to figure out how to use the app, but once you get over that hurdle, there are an amazing number of historical, specialty (eg law), translation, and many other dictionaries at your fingertips. All accessible with one search. If the excellent, free, modern Mirriam-Webster app is too narrow for your interests, try this one. It's quite wonderful--well, the app itself isn't, but the dictionaries you can access with it really are.

Wordfree WordfreeGreat! I'd willingly pay to have an ad-free version with a larger screen footprint though.
