  • Absolutely great -- blows away people
I showed this to the manager of a local restaurant from India. I told her what to do, but she misunderstood -- oh, it plays music, how nice! She said. I said, no, you don't understand -- what is the name of the song playing right now? It was some Indian song, and I held the phone up towards the ceiling of the restaurant, while she game me the name of the song, some Indian words I didn't understand. The phone buzzed, and I showed her the result. The look on her face was like, wow, that's impossible. It was priceless. EXCELLENT application.

  • Good idea, bad execution
This app is pretty bad. The interface is awkward. Seems like it just kind of fights you and nothing is easy. Also, there are bugs -- it keeps changing my location to some place called "Trevarno" which I've never been near in my life. All in all poorly designed. I cannot believe it's getting high ratings. Badoo website is pretty cool. Badoo app: not so much.

  • Not useful
You have to painfully enter your confirmation number and first and last name each time you use this-- it doesn't even remember my name between efforts. It should store trips and allow me to easily check in and change seats and stuff. Basically not useful.

  • Inaccurate — bottom line
App reported times of 20 minutes and 10 minutes when actual waits were 50 and 60 minutes. Happened repeatedly. I could not figure out how to correct the info. Do not bother with this.

  • Good but quirky
This thing has an impressive database and gets the job done pretty well. It tracks exercise and food and knows about lots of surprising foods. However, one very big annoyance is that it has random serving sizes that make me do a lot of math in my head. For example, the basic serving it shows for Chobani yogurt is 170g, even though that does not correspond to a container of Chobani, a half container, etc. It should at least let me specify whether I prefer oz or grams. It's random; for yams it's actually "2 small yams," whatever that means, and for broccoli it's "one cup." As someone who weighs all my food, this is frustrating. Also, if you change your calorie goal on Tuesday, it retroactively applies that to all previous days, which is just wrong. My goals are different today than yesterday perhaps. Other quirks exist. But it works, it synchronizes between devices nicely, they have a web interface, and overall it's very useful.
