This is a neat ap for favorite recipies that you might make for company; it makes it much easier to size the portions, and elimiates conversion mistakes. (If it saves you from doing that wrong one time it's probably more than paid for itself already!) Useful, easy to use, intuitive, attractive UI; love the ingredient list.

The reminder you mention is actually an Alert, telling you how to go from the Daily Entry screen to the Tap Counter. After you go to the Tap Counter the first time the Alert will no longer appear. Very nice looking app, and the tip calculator and currency converter can be useful even when I'm not traveling.
