This game is almost--almost, mind--as tedious, boring, uninspired, and hollow as is watching any episode of the Simpsons written in, say, the last 13 years. As a game, it's a total waste. As "The Simpsons," well, Matt Groening should be ashamed, but, natch, he's too rich to feel shame anymore.

This game has no interactivity whatever. You genuinely have to wait while the other person completes his or her turn, and then you press a "watch" button to see what they did. Utterly boring. Not worth the download time. Oh, and there's an advert after every turn.

I'm challenged by this app: I want to like it, but I hate it. The breed mapping seems to bear little resemblance to what I believe most AKC members would say about many breeds, and the Groom function appears to do nothing--at least on my iPad 2. I turned on the switches for "white coat" and "long hair," expecting to find my beloved Samoyed recommended. No. "Unable to find a match. Turn off some of the switches and try again." Frankly, white coat plus powerful plus long hair plus fluffy plus large equals my purebred Sammy any day of the week. Nope: Sammy only triggers with "white coat," or "pointy nose," or "pointy ears." Well, the Samoyed nose isn't pointy, but... Whatever. Disappointed.

Another app with elements that require a Facebook account. Nothing short of offensive.

This is a wonderful app. Period. Elegant design, from a software perspective, and it really does connect people with pets who desperately need love and security. Bravo!
