Reading a book on Kobo is difficult because the app itself is very intrusive. I wanted to support it because my favourite independent bookstore does. But the app is interfering with my reading. Kindle doesn't; iBooks doesn't; Nook doesn't. But Kobo does. I can read a book without all the 'aids' and hand-holding and we're-all-in-this-togetherness. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to turn this intrusiveness off.

What's your game, guys--take a really useful feature and *sneak* it away?! I've had Carbonite on my computers for several years, so I was thrilled when it came to my handheld. But this has me rethinking Carbonite altogether. What is the logic? To see if anyone cared? Dumb.
