  • Great Way to Get Someone to Break your Device!
"DROP an item here" Oh yeah that's just brilliant. Why not just hand someone a hammer and tell them to go at it!

  • This App Can Be Very Useful With Some Added Features
Version 1.3 had the most tedious editing function I've ever seen in an IOS app. It was absurd how bad it was. But with version 1.4 they added the ability to drag and drop chords making this app MUCH easier to work with. I upgraded my rating due to the responsiveness of the developer. I still think $5 for the full version is a bit high in it's current state. If they add the features listed below it would be easier to justify the expense: They REALLY need to add a variety of musical rhythms for playback. The single strumming just doesn't cut it. Being able to edit your own rhythms would be good too. How about adjustable swing for a more realistic feel? It would also be good to be able to choose guitar or piano for playback. Playback of progressions is an important function that I think is really being overlooked. If it's not musical it's not inspiring. And that, to me, is what this tool is all about. That's what's going to make people willing to lay down their money for the full version. I don't see a transpose function. That is a HUGE omission. You start with a blank canvas and that's fine. But there should be a library of standard progressions included that you can start off with and alter from there. That would provide for two different forms of inspiration. The ability to tap a button and see the progression in piano or guitar diagram format would be a very useful feature. It would be particularly nice with guitar diagrams to be able to slide the neck position to see what the chords come out like. It's one thing to put together a progression. It's another thing to be able to play it easily on the guitar. They could really go to town on the functions helpful to guitarists. Like being able to narrow the types of chords to choose from. For instance limiting to melody chords, rhythm chords or bottom 4 string chords. With those features I think it would be well worth $5 and also 5 stars. From version 1.3 to version 1.4 was a huge improvement. I'm looking forward to seeing what may be added next. This can become a monster music app if the developers keep at it.

  • Winner!
Beaning a jerk on the back of the head with a stapler has a very theraputic value.

  • I Thought the Ending was Hilarious
I've always liked these "gem" escape games better than any of the others. Very creative, fun and challenging.

  • Awesome Pool Game for IOS
I tried a number of other pool games before I settled on this one. Pool Rebel came in a far distant second. It has 2 different views and "free view" in particular took some time to get used to but once I got the hang of how it works it's as close to the real thing as I've found. So be patient when you're testing this one out and it should pay off for you. If you go into the settings you'll be stunned to see the level of control they give you over the physics and every other aspect of the game. The stick angle adjustment and the "English" adjustment both make better sense than the others I tried. The physics of the game are superb. You know it's working right when the balls all react EXACTLY like they do when you play on a real world table. I have certain faults in my own technique that I've been working on and there's NO difference between the way I play in real life and in this game. I have a small table at home I USED to play on. But I just love the big roomy luxurious regulation sized tables in I now have in my ipad that I could never fit in my house. So my real table is now collecting dust! You can play with no trajectory indicators at all or you can have a trajectory shown for the the cue and/or after the ball has been hit. One is white and the other is yellow. This can really help you learn so many aspects of how the balls react when you make certain shots. In particular it can help you develop your bank shots which many people struggle with. It also has snooker which so many others don't include. Plus carom which I find I enjoy. Crokinole is also included. These are even included in the FREE version which is quite generous if you ask me. Pool Rebel doesn't give you any of those even in the paid version which costs more than Pool Break I might add. There is also a "pool drill" mode which is funny. It will set up these totally impossible shots for you to try to make. To set up shots like that one after the other in the real world would be very time consuming. Someone said something in their review about the colors not matching. I believe they were referring to snooker. If you notice in the top corner of the active player when you are aiming at a ball it will show you the ball that is going to be hit in a larger size so if you can't quite make it out on the table which helps to be sure you're hitting the right ball. In snooker it also tells you the proper color of the ball you need to hit which was a big help because I had never played snooker before although I really wanted to learn. I actually play snooker now more than any of the other games. If you think there are any improvements that can be made shoot them an email and you'll find they do respond. I sent in a suggestion that they add an option to switch the trajectories on and off in game rather than having to go through options menus. They said they'll add it. They expressed concern about cluttering the table which I was also concerned about. Plus they promised to add more backgrounds in the next update. So they are clearly interested in improving what is already a great product. I can't recommend this one highly enough.
