One of the few interesting games Telltale puts out, but as with the others, buggy with few if any bug fixes. I'm tired of replaying sections of the game because my choices or actions didn't register correctly. Sometimes when I have a choice of what to say or click an object, it chooses a different one - sometimes almost on the other side of the screen. This isn't too serious when it's a minor conversation or just looking around at stuff, but when it comes to a major decision point or the action is hot and heavy, clicking somewhere and having the game decide to choose something else just doesn't cut it. I'd really like the game if I didn't have to keep repeating... repeating... repeating it. There seems to be a bit of a battle in the reviews about price. If this game worked right, the way I hope it does on other systems, it's worth the price. With the bugs that'll probably never get fixed... not.

  • Bloatware
Give me something that works well over "pretty interface" any day. I, personally, dislike the interface too (it's all an eye of the beholder kind of thing).

  • Inferior app from inferior Co.
I will never again buy another book from a company that bought the best ereader, Stanza, just so they could drop support for it and kill it. They could've incorporated parts of kindle into Stanza to make a *better* product, but they just wanted to kill off the competition in favor of their *inferior* product. I will not deal with businesses that engage in such sleazy, monopolistic practices.

  • Stanza no longer supported
Just thought I'd repost this for people wondering about a fix/update - it's not going to happen. --- Update 12/20/11: Looks like lexcycle.com (makers of Stanza) was taken down a little over a week ago. Amaz0n, who bought them a couple of years ago, has apparently seen fit to take down the site and not support Stanza anymore (don't expect *any* more upgrades, bug fixes or anything...ever). The lexcycle.com site was also where the built-in book store catalogs were kept (Gutenberg, etc), which is why they don't show up anymore. You can add catalogs yourself, though there aren't that many. Check out getsatisfaction.com/stanza to get more help from other users trying to keep Stanza working as well as possible for as long as possible until something equal or better than Stanza gets made. --- Review just after 3.2 came out (Nov. 2011): I've really loved this app, but I think some serious questions have been raised. While it's nice that they finally did something (last update was in Feb. 2011), the problem is that this was *just* a bug fix for ios5 which broke the app on ios4 (maybe 3 as well?) and afaik added no new features (since Feb?, c'mon!). Unless they get back into the game (and, yes, I'd pay for this), I'm going to keep an eye on both MegaReader and ShuBook. The devs of both those apps seem to be working hard on bringing many, if not all, of the features we all love about Stanza to their respective readers. Beyond that, they also seem to be actively developing their apps so that they may surpass Stanza at some point unless, as I said, Stanza gets back in the game with new features, not just the rare and long awaited bug fix that brings more bugs with it.

  • Beautiful
Been using this for a couple of years and it's still the best looking weather app. Not only can I check the weather, but I can actually enjoy/have fun doing it - what a great concept!
