  • Not just for kids
    People keep talking about how great this is for kids--admit it, you play with it as much as they do. I'm not a kid, nor do I have any, and I love this guy. What I would love to see is a way to save the videos without sending them, and maybe the ability to record just a little bit longer, but I have no real complaints.

  • Everything a game should be
    After reading the recent reviews, I have decided not to load the most recent update for a while. That said, this is still the best $.99 I've spent on this site. I don't understand the vitriol in some of these responses. Yes, obviously a fix is needed; but I feel I've gotten my money's worth with the game I've had so far. Maybe it's a compliment; they obviously miss their game! My only complaint is that, before Angry Birds, my husband and I shared an ipod amicably. Now, clearly, I'm going to have to get my own. ;+}

  • Still my favorite app
    I'm still in line for the iPad version, and I'm still willing to pay a fair price for it---pretty please. . . ;+} This was the first game I fell in love with on my iPod, and it's still the standard I hold all other apps to. Yes it's slow---and beautiful and peaceful. I hate time management games; I don't have enough time in real life so why would I want a game rushing me as well. Your flowers don't die if you forget to water them for days, they just frown. To the person who wanted to know when it ends, why should it? I've torn up and replanted my garden several times, and I'll do so again. And to the reviewer who complained about all the holes her daughter dug: plant tulips, harvest the pollen, then sell the tulips. You'll only be out a little bit, which you'll more than make up with what the pollen earns you---esp. if you have a lot of pricey flowers to pollinate and have sold off the "lesser" flowers (the tulips are actually my favorite). Those who want to speed the game up can do this too---though I still don't know why anyone would want to. If you find you can't purchase any new decorations, you may be at the limit (50)---sell a few and buy something else (the treasure chest to the left indicates how many you currently have). From the graphics to the music to the pace, this app is as close to perfection as they come. If the developers ever find the time to make an iPad version, I'll be first in line (and I'll be willing to spend a lot more than a dollar). Maybe it helps that I've been into computers since before they had hard drives, and I can remember spending fifty dollars on games in the mid-eighties that were nothing compared to what you can get for $.99 today on the App Store. To give this amazing little gem a one-star review is ludicrous.

  • My favorite word game so far
    This gets five stars even though it keeps crashing and throwing me out of the program at the end of every fifth or sixth round. When this happens my progress is lost, and it's very frustrating. I'm running 4.1---is this an issue with that? Also I'd love an option to continue coming up with words after the timer runs out---or to run without timer on occasion. I'm fine with my score ending when I don't come up with the six-letter word, but I'd still like to try to come up with the words on my own. I have no problem with the ads; but, if you fix the bug and give me some control of the timer, I will purchase the full version anyway. P.S. Is there any way to turn up the sensitivity of the letter tiles? I find myself sometimes needing three or four tries at it before the letters I type register. At the very least, a way to remove just the last letter typed would be cool.
