Outstanding!

Was great; utterly useless since update. What a shame.

This was an exquisitely designed, accurate weather app - best one I could have imagined. The introduction of ads didn't really bother me, it is free after all. Problem is, it has become a dysfunctional mess of conflicting information, which isn't accurate either, hogs bandwidth and resources, and is slow and unstable. The beautiful images no longer even bother to depict the proper locations, for the most part. Now suddenly, sketchy information has turned downright insulting: The entire San Fernando Valley region has VANISHED. Millions of residents in long established communities with distinct names and varied climatic conditions apparently have become meaningless to the people of Yahoo. A sure sign of a once major force in Internet services in its final death spiral.

Wasn't bad, at first. But completely useless on iPad Mini Retina: Blue button icons are ILLEGIBLE (*if Display is set on BOLD, which works fine on all other apps), and yes - even on full size iPad, it is a hair-trigger mess to write with finger OR rubber-tip stylus pen. I've been patiently waiting for a well-thought-through update for over a year, though it still needs a major overhaul to be worth purchasing. Even the free version of PDF Notes works better for same tasks.
