Compared to previous releases, this version of the app is poor. The audio functionality is particularly woeful. There is no longer volume control built into the app functionality, the automatic display of copy for the article one is listening is no longer a feature and the app no longer appears to remember the point at which a listener left the audio upon exiting the app (leaving it running in the background) forcing returning listeners to reselect an article from the index.
