  • A great tool for ESL students
I tried this application myself and it generally works fine - if you make the effort to pronounce words clearly and accurately. So, useful for my own needs. I then realised it would be a good tool for students learning English to practice pronunciation of difficult words. If Dragon Dictation can recognise the word then clearly they are using good pronunciation and they get immediate feedback without having to run off to a native English speaker to be given an assessment. So far, for those students with Internet connectivity, it is proving to be a very useful tool.

  • Nag nag nag
I resent being nagged by pushy developers to rate their app, despite having responded 'no thanks'. Hence, one previous five star review is now just one star. Bring on the next pest for one star punishment.

  • It delivers
Update: quite excited about the iPad version. But then it's crashed a couple of times and worst of all, the iPhone version on the iPad was easier to use. Now it looks smart but usability has taken a hit. It's still a great app. I'm waiting now to see which app delivers a compatible desk top client first: will it be Mailbox or Mail Pilot? I'll go with the first to do it successfully. I came to Mailbox after the very expensive 'Mail Pilot' hit the rocks and seemingly sank without trace. Even the few bits that worked in Mail Pilot did not function as well or as intuitively as they do in this app. I'm happy with the way this is working for me and look forward to seeing what the future holds for Mailbox.
