This game is now spamming me This game is now spamming meForgot I even had this installed, as I found that it got really boring, so when I ran out of points to continue playing, I just quit. But just now I was interrupted by a push notification, urging me to play now in return for some game points. That didn't convince me to play, but it did remind me to delete the game, and convinced me to rate it and leave this review.

New version removes functionality I already paid for New version removes functionality I already paid forVersion 2 (which iOS 7 auto-upgraded me to) combines the one-time infrared control $10 purchase and the one-time tv guide $10 purchase into a yearly $17 purchase. Suddenly I can't use Roomie to control my AV system unless I cough up for a new purchase, because the infrared support I need and paid for is gone. I know upgrades are controversial, but I would have happily purchased the new version at full price, to get the new features - I'm completely supportive of paying for significant improvements. And I'm actually ok with a subscription fee for the tv guide - that's an ongoing service - though taking away something I already paid for leaves a bad taste in my mouth. (In my case, I dropped cable tv a while back and no longer need the tv guide.) But the IR control is not a service, I already paid for it, and to not only take it away but to turn it into a yearly subscription feels unreasonable to me.

Very nice Very niceVery nice app and service - I'm very pleased with it. A few downsides. First, it does seem a bit slow to get that first update. And I really wish it had an iPad-optimized version - would look nicer to start, plus right now the web pages it shows (shipping company tracking paged) look jagged and can be hard to read on an iPad.

Inexplicably cool to see the map of where I've traveled Inexplicably cool to see the map of where I've traveledI enjoy adding to this map and seeing the tendrils of where I've traveled. I highly appreciate that I can share trips/routes directly from, say, the Bad Elf GPS app. I do wish Fog of World was getting more frequent updates; visually it doesn't really match current iOS styles, and it hasn't been updated for some newer devices with different screen sizes. (Personally I dislike the gamification, though that stays pretty well out of the way.) Also, I'd love to see some more features, like being able to include flight paths with less cloud removed for those. I'd like to see the Dropbox sync become automatic (though I know sync can be difficult, and I prefer manual sync over anything automatic that isn't rock solid.
