I pay $20 a month for this New York Times app. And now ever since I upgraded my iOS yesterday March 14, I'm starting to get pop-up ads at the bottom of the New York Times page. They are very annoying. How do I shut these off. Why should I be getting these when I'm paying good money for the subscription. If these don't end I am going to cancel my subscription and New York Times can kiss the $20 a month goodbye.

I am a big Penguin fan so this is a difficult review. In my opinion this app is not ready for prime time. I tried buying a book and when I press on purchase half the time I would end up on one of those nasty "404" pages. The other half of the time I would end up at an invoice page. However, when I press on the cart button I get a white screen. I am going to delete this app and check back in a couple of months for hopefully a better iPad version. Mark

I am only able to place orders up to 12 hours in advance; 24 hours in advance would be much better, especially for early morning pick ups. The app doesn't seem to "know" what city I am ordering from. When I try and order a home pick up it says I am to far away. To fix the probem, I have to go to change city, when in fact I am not changing cities. Only then does the gps kick in.
