I hated the update enough to uninstall the APP.

Awful update hasn't gotten any better. Fewer controls over what you see in your News Feed and how much you see from each person in your friends list. Auto play videos slows down loads. Also if you try to hide a story Facebook leaves a blank rectangle overlaid on your feed. This is especially bad when the rectangle blocks stories you actually want to read. Overall this is a very buggy update which removed useful features and added problems.
