Crashes when I try to connect via twitter

I tried to update the app today and it's been "initializing" for 10+ hours! I even downloaded another app to see if my connection was the issue, but it downloaded fine and I've been on both my wifi & 3G all day. I can't even delete the app to try and reinstall it. Please fix ASAP!

This app would be so much better if it had a feature to search & add twitter or Facebook friends, right now it's impossible to find anyone. Also needs an option to stop automatically playing videos as they scroll past, it's annoying when searching through the homepage to have them play automatically.

With the new update, my tweets aren't sending and are just going straight to my drafts folder. Also seems like I'm having more problems than usual loading tweets.
