  • Disappointed
This is not a game. It's essentially an app the presents a panel of games by the developer. And clicking one in the panel launches you into the App Store to buy the game you selected. Personally I don't want my three year old thrown into the App Store, and unless I buy every game in the panel then that's exactly what will happen. Developers who write games for kids, especially young kids, and place ads or hooks to purchase other items really annoy me. I deleted this so called game within 2 minutes of downloading it.

  • Comprehensive but defective and poor design
The app is comprehensive in that it has covers all of the functionality you would expect from an app of this nature, or at least all of the functionality I would imagine: schedules, news, scores, tickets, venue info, etc, etc. There are a few significant problems with the app. For starters getting to the are where you can view your electronic tickets for an upcoming game is not obvious or intuitive. I would expect a menu item or button at the highest level of menu or home page titled “View My Tickets” or something along those lines. Instead you have to find your way there by clicking an “Account Manager” button found under the tickets tab. So getting to see/view your tickets goes like this: 1. Go to the “Tickets” item. (ok, obvious enough) 2. Click the “Account Manager” button (given the name this is not intuitive) 3. Select the date of the event as listed on the page. 4. Now you see a summary of your tickets. To see one of them you click on the ticket summary. Not terrible, but fairly deep into the navigation of the app and given the name that it’s in among the “Account Manager” area, this key functionality is kind of hidden. Secondly the app has several defects. Clicking on buttons and links doesn’t always work. Sometimes you have to try several times or navigate out of the area and come back (reload) to try again. Sometimes you have to restart the app. The “Add to Passbook” button doesn’t seem to work at all. I’ve tried it several times. Sometimes it causes the app to display a blank/white empty page. Sometimes is does nothing at all (stays on the current page). But no matter what the display shows, the ticket does not get added to Passbook. All in all I’d say hey took a pretty good shot at it, but they missed the net with this one - pardon the pun.

  • Buggy
Good functionality but still quite buggy. I've been using the app for two days now and it has crashed about five times so far. One day 1 the reports in the log page worked well. On day two none of the data entered for this day show up on the daily report. This will be a nice app when they get some of the bugs out.

  • Slow & awkward
To begin the application is a little awkward. Once you select an airport, you filter the list of flights further using multiple criteria. I began by typing the name of my airline (in this case US AIrlines) and waited for my flight to show up in the list. It never showed and I was left wondering why. The refresh was very slow, so at first I wasn't sure if my listing was not going to come up or if it was simply in the queue and waiting for the refresh to complete. After I was certain that the app was displaying all flights that it could find, I wondered why my flight wasn't there. Then I noticed a small pull-down menu button at the bottom of the window. It contained a list of time frames. Turns out you have to select a time frame. After I selected the right time frame, and a little more waiting for the list to refresh, my flight showed up. The app displays good throough information about a flight, but it's a little slow and awkward. Another minor annoyance is that if you have a trip that includes multiple flight segments, you might want to view them all together or at least have them show up in a list all at once so you can click through them to see if gates are close together, etc. But you can't really do that. You have to start over and filter the list (pick the airport, pick the timeframe, pick the airline) and all the while completely overwrite the display. Which means you have to write down the details of each segment because there's no way to view them on the screen together. The app works. But it could be much better. All and in all I'd say stick with a free flight tracker until this one gets a little better.
