  • Doesn't work on wifi
    After downloading the latest app update, Netflix will not load on wifi. If I switch to 3G it works fine. After reading other reviews I can see its not just me. This is on a iPhone 4 iOS 5.1.1 I also have a ipod4 on iOS 5.1.1 but have the previous netflix app and it works just fine on wifi. Someone needs to fix this ASAP or start handing out some sort of compensation. Or at least give us some info on what to do. And yes I could watch the service on my computer....BUT, I only subscribed to Netflix for use on my iPhone. When I go on trips I don't always lug around my computer when I can do everything from my iPhone. We should get a free month of Netflix for as long as it takes to fix.

  • STILL Doesn't work
    I don't see how you could release a update and not fix a problem. The app will still not play any content whether downloaded or just to play now right in the app. It gives an error box saying "Sorry, we've experienced some difficulty playing your video.". I have emailed the app support link and live chat with Comcast, but they are unable to fix the problem. All they say is reboot my device, re-install the app, and log out and then back in. As a customer I would expect a tech should be able to solve this problem. They act like i'm stupid and tell me I need to use a valid comcast ID and not a yahoo email or anything like that. I mean are they serious??? I know how to log in! Your piece of crap app just needs fixed. It does let me download a movie, but when i go to downloads and click watch... It gives me the error message again. WHY WON'T IT PLAY???? Useless customer service Another question is how about my Comcast Customer Guarantee?!? What are you going to do for us?? My old xfinity tv app works just fine, but I want to use the download feature which is only available in this new xfinity player app. What a shame. Please fix this junk.

  • No external video
    I tried to watch my hbo go app in my hotel room via my iPhone, and av cable. However it only gives me a hbo logo on the screen. I was able to perform this action when I first started using HBOgo. I pay for my hbo subscription, and should be able to watch whenever, wherever I choose. Please fix this and I will change to 5 stars.

  • Still disgusted with comcast.
    Until this last update, this app worked great for me. Now I can't watch any of the movie or tv content from my iPhone. It tells me that it has moved and to download the new xfinity player app. Only problem is that the new player app doesn't play anything. Just gives me a message that it can't play my video at this time. That new app is garbage. I have been through customer service and tech support. Nobody can fix this. Well how about a monthly bill credit until you figure it out?!? I can't understand why Comcast has something that works, they feel they have to take it away and make something new. Give me my old app back. At least that worked!
