iPad 2 with IOS 8.1

3.5 stars! This seems to be the only free VoIP phone that knows how to deal with an address book! The interface looks really crude on the bigger screen of an iPad, though. Two big things missing: Voicemail and push notification.

Something went oddball with this update, where dialing the voicemail password is no longer recognized. There was no issue with the previous version. Dropping this from four stars to two. **2.2.4** This update seems to work about as well as the previous version, which was a nice, freebie SIP phone. One thing though: the update wipes-out your existing settings on the iPad. It's not that big of a deal, just seems stoopid. To be sure, Linphone definitely works and is much better than many of the freebies out there!

Easy set-up and it worked right-away! Unfortunately, that was the one and only time it ever worked. From then on, every time I tried opening the app, it would freeze. Luckily, I could kill it no problem. Thanks for making this free; I'm not sure what happened, though.
