A good app for Earth scientists, students, news hounds, and aware citizens.

  • Good App
Early on, there were a couple of issues, but they were addressed quickly. The App is now bullet-proof and gives info quickly. Whether one lives in a fault zone, is a student of geophysics, or is curious about the world underneath our feet, this is a good App.

  • Pretty good app
It is a pretty good news app. Breaking news can be a bit slow to post and that is my only critique.

  • Bad update
I’ve never had a problem with this app until I updated it. Upon doing do and then opening it, the app has locked up on my iPhone. All I get is the corner of a blown out (zoomed in) Drudge avatar.

  • A great idea killed by worthless coding
iFormulas is a great concept - a reference app that contains math, science, physics, electronics, and other related formulas for everyone from high school students needing the quadratic equations, through university students needing Boyle's gas law, to professionals needing to recall information on the go. Unfortunately, iFormulas is so buggy that it can never deliver on this promise. Open the app and click on about half the information, then watch as the app freezes for a few seconds and then reverts to the iPad home screen. I need this type of information frequently and can't afford to recall faulty information in the field, but with this failed app, it is worthless. If I could give it no stars, I would. Debug this app and reintroduce it as a stable 3.0 version and I'll gladly pay for it.
