Set my own pace, GPS tracked just fine, showed my route on map as I was walking and even discovered new neighborhoods thanks to the excellent map. While listening to radio, a voice overlay would update me on distance, elapsed time and pace. It was about every 20 min so not disruptive. Overall, perfect way to record and archive any activity.

For $1.99 leads to disappointment as only 1/2 screen appears making it impossible to play the game. This must be fixed for avoid the upgraded game.

Why would you fool with such a fine game that stood the test of time? Making all these online connections with friends is fine if thats what you choose. But some of us like to just play the computer as our opponents to improve our word skills without seeking "friends" online (which obviously necessitates having online access). I've played this game at anchor off a remote island and loved that capability, but now I need wifi everywhere to play unless I use "pass n play" and assume both roles. The pop ups are annoying and within 10 turns, the message to go online pops up and shuts down play completely unless you have a connection. Please allow some of us off the grid players to have the simplified version back as an option.
