It seems that the amazing graphical beauty of this game lets developers think they can get away with extremely short gameplay. which they try to hide by making the game go in an infinite loop. Nice eye candy, interesting gameplay, but could be better. You can finish a whole "bloodline" (that is, one entire go through the game) in ten minutes. Also, what is with the weird language?? What are they speaking, Italian?
