While Adobe was sitting in their ivory tower contemplating their greatness, I switched to PDF Expert. Quite a while ago. This update is summed up by "way too little way too late." Just check out the proud prices of the in-app purchases, then look at PDF Expert. Which doesn't crash, by the way. Pretty pathetic, isn't it?

It records voice. That appears to be the only feature. Oh, and you can email the recording. OK. That deserves 3 stars for being functional. There is nothing else. No folders to store recordings in. No Dropbox, no iCloud, no WiFi transfer. There's no technical information about the file type or maximum recording length. The little "i" icon displays and advertising, not information. I need to be able to record a meeting which is normally over 2 hrs long, potentially up to 3 hours. In mp3 or AAC format, that would be about 150 to 180 MB. The format (whatever it is) used by this app is apparently uncompressed. An included advertorial sound clip of 55 seconds length is almost 5 MB. This means that 3 hrs recording is around 1 GB??? And I have to email that? Not very useful to me.
