  • Awesome!
Riveting story, creepy music, clean graphics, and great gameplay. Puzzles make you scratch your head for a while, but they won't make you bang your head against the wall and reach for a walkthrough. The solutions are believable and all they take is a little, or a lot, of common sense and ingenuity. The story is what makes this game, it's like playing a good thriller/mystery novel with lots of fun twists and turns in the plot. And the music provides the perfect backdrop for the game's creepy atmosphere. Am I the only one that gets that whistled ditty stuck in my head? There is one thing I would change: ask for a rating towards the end of the game rather than the beginning. The only sane reason I can account for the game getting such "iffy" ratings is because the reviewers have only played the first part. There's no way this doesn't get 5 stars from someone that makes it to the end. I couldn't put it down!

  • awesome!
this is simply the best app on my iPhone! no more having to run and check multiple game sites for release dates, then affix that date to the calender, and inevitably do it all over when the game you are waiting for gets pushed back. this app does all that for you. (and the game portion is cute :P)

  • Short, sweet, and unexpected.
No, it's not the best nor the longest game in the world and it certainly isn't very polished, but then again the developers have been quite honest about its shortcomings. That said, they did a pretty darn good job for a game that took two days to make. The atmosphere was great, quite creepy, especially background noises and lighting. I thought the dark bits were done to especially good effect. Feeling your way around with a very limited light source is the stuff of claustrophobic nightmares. The puzzles were a bit too simple, but I suspect that goes with the age rating. I could definitely see where it would have benefitted from the addition of an inventory, certainly pace-wise. As far as story and gameplay goes, there were a couple of places that surprised me and several places that made me chuckle outright. The ending was quite unexpected and I'm a sucker for a good twist. :) All in all I'd say that's pretty good for a game that took less than 10 minutes to play through. I was certainly entertained. A great start and worth the download, especially considering that it's free. On that note, I suggest that you check out the developer's other adventure, Forever Lost: Episode 1. It's got the polish that this one lacks while keeping the same creepiness, cleverness, and sense of humor.
