Great game

As of 12:28pm 5/15/14, the most recent "news" on the emergency tab was more than 24 hours old and did not include 5 fires that had sprung up in the meantime. It does not list evacuation centers and the fire location information is barely adequate. The county's website isn't much better, but the whole point of having a mobile app is to disseminate emergency info quickly to those who are on the move and need it ASAP. #fail.

The AI is a little weak, and would LOVE a random map generator instead of the 50 or so presets. Still, very good game and repayable, too.

The game is OK, but nothing special as RTS goes. English Instructions are very poorly written and almost incomprehensible. My last battle took FOREVER because of overwhelming imbalance and not being able to figure out what the available upgrades are or to collect enough "cubic" to buy decent troops. Enemy is spawning at a rate of about 4 to 1 so that's fun. Haven't decided if I like the game yet.. Good thing it was free.

There are some serious quirks to this game, and it's a LOT more like Civ 3 than Civ 5. The recent upgrade added some nice graphic enhancements (like unique units for each Civ). However, you can't upgrade your units - so unless you build Leonardo's workshop, your warriors and archers will eventually be facing tanks. This is just dumb. Aslo, now that the game has the unique units, even building Leo's workshop won't upgrade them (so a Roman Cataphracts will stay that way while the archer next to him gets upgraded to infantry). These bugs don't kill the game, but you'd expect them to have thought of these kinds of things before rolling out the upgrade.
