New UI ugly and slower than previous generation.

Nice update. Lots of changes. Spend time checking it out before freaking. For example, to view artist list, go to "Favorites" and select "Albums and Songs." UPDATE: Removed a star. The Album/Artist A-Z index isn't working, and not everything I had in my collection made it as a favorite.

Wow - a total UI rewrite! Been waiting for this. Core functionality has not changed, which is very good as Slacker is awesome. Too often app makes make change for the sake of change without actually improving usability. This is just the opposite - core functionality the same, but the look and feel has been brought up to date. Also - I think the UI makes it easier to use Slacker's powerful custom-station creation and fine-tuning tools. Very well done Slacker! Not sure what people mean when they say functioning is lacking. You can still ban artists, songs, customize stations, etc. This took me about two minutes to figure out.

The new custom station stuff is great. I particularly like that the controls are designed for each station ("guitars" vs. "synths" on First Wave, for example). If only you could rate/ban tracks and record... Slacker still has more powerful customization options but this is a big first step for SiriusXM.

Wow - you have to pay a whole $3/month! What an outrage! Reading these reviews depresses me. What a bunch of whiny freeloaders.
