The iPad app is terrible. Why do I have to scroll ALL the way to the bottom of the app, past dozens of genres, just to see My List? Why is My List not at the top? Why can I not edit the genres that I want to show? For instance, I hardly ever watch horror movies. Discovery of new movies to watch on this app is horrendous too. Why can I not browse categories, or by director, or by top rated, or by year? What are you thinking, Netflix?

If I'm in the middle of watching a video and decide to go check my email, when I switch back to the Amazon video app it reverts back to the main content browsing screen. I don't understand why I can't quickly switch to another app and then switch back directly to the video I was watching. And this is on a brand-new iPad Air 2 and no other apps (like YouTube) give me similar issues so it must be something that Amazon stupidly programmed the app to do. I think the iPhone version does the same thing.

I had high hopes for this app after reading reviews on tech blogs. Then I realized it doesn't support Gmail labels. Uhm, how am I supposed to organize my email without labels? Useless.

If you view the videos in full screen on the iPad they look really compressed/blocky. Compare this to the TED website where you can download the same video in a "high res video" format that is much clearer. I don't understand why they are serving such poor video to the iPad app, and for this I am giving only 2 stars. Please update the app to serve high quality video. It could almost even be in 720p given that the resolution of the iPad display isn't far off.
