Although I've always been impressed with Davis hardware, their commitment to (or any real apparent awareness and support for), a total and flexible product-ecosystem: tying in hardware, software, the 'nets, and yes, things like this iOS app (which no longer works, at all), reveals elephantine ignorance, or at least systemic (likely fatal) corporate-inertia. Combining all that with their utterly myopic refusal to play nice with other existing ecosystems (Wunderground for instance), makes me hold this company in extremely low regard.

Any publishers considering ANY other digital solution, would be considering inferior solutions.

I really love what this app does and it's very clean appearance. I am puzzled though by it warning me every time I launch it, that it cannot connect to cell service. Why would a clock app need to connect to cell service? We've all heard the stories of apps scavenging user data (for whatever reason, some benign, some not). That seems curious to me.
