I used to play this game all the time! I fell in love with it when I was like 13. I was browsing on my Samsung Galaxy Tab and found it in the Google Play Store and I was so excited. I downloaded it and played it with ease. Now I recently replaced my Galaxy Tab with an iPad mini. Since the picture is so nice on it I wanted to play Hotel Mogul on it again, so I bought it and played it up until I got to level 10. Once you get to level 10, the screen you used to choose what level you want completely freezes. I checked for an update and it turns out an update hasn't been available since 2011. No matter how many times I restarted my iPad or uninstalled it and downloaded it again it still did the same thing. So I gave up. Then I decided to try it on my iPhone and the SAME THING HAPPENS. This game is amazing but it really is upsetting me. I can't even get a refund on it. I don't know if it's just me or what but I'm sooooo mad! Be careful when you decide to purchase this game.

Really fun game. I love it as much as the original. I'm a huge fan of cooking games and this one is right on the money. Speaking of money, as long as you're good at the game there is no need to purchase additional coins for upgrades. It really is free!

I love this game. There are just a few minor kinks. It's very hard to find a good game on the App Store these days that doesn't cost anything, and this one hits the mark. It's not a "lite" version and the levels don't stop at a certain point until you buy. However, it is next to impossible to get through this whole game without having the to buy coins or gems. The upgrades are really useful, but you need to upgrade your kitchen items and your restaurant decor items simultaneously, or you will not be able to earn three stars on every level. The gem situation is absolutely ridiculous and I think that they have to go. I had this game a while back and got rid of it when I got to the bakery in the third or fourth level because I simply didn't have a enough coins or gems for the upgrades That I needed to get through a particular level. This was before it became super popular and one of the top apps on the App Store. I think it had only a couple of thousand reviews when I had it the first time, now it's up to over 7,000! If you having trouble with the coins and the gems, I suggest either restarting the game and not using your gems on useless things like the cooking machine that becomes available in the fast food stage. I've been able to get through the whole fast food stage without any items that were 100% upgraded. Use your gems as sparingly as possible. I've used the casino a few times to bump up my gem count and got really lucky. But I wouldn't depend on that. Also, don't refill your cupcakes unless you're trying to clear a level that your having problems with. Not giving a costumer a cupcake when they want one doesn't affect their tip. If you're like me and always want to hit three starts on every level, the cupcakes are useful then. But remember, every refill costs a gem. So make sure you save them. One more thing, when you're approaching the end of a stage, make sure you look at the next stage to see how much it would cost to unlock it. You need to save up that amount or you'll be stuck. All in all this is a great game once you learn how to keep the upgrades regulated.
