  • Okay, but has Contacts glitch..
Device info: iPhone 4S, 64GB, OS 6.1, AT&T, latest app update (as of 11-23-12): Almost everything works fine, and I LOVE the calendar integration, but there is a problem with the Contacts integration. I selected several Contacts to add to the maps view, which worked fine, but when I went to find the added contact's locales I couldn't figure out how to have them viewed, at first - finally, I figured out you have to pinch & zoom out & then it shows you all their pins. BUT, my aunt, who lives in Spring Valley, California keeps showing up in Spring Valley, CANADA. I checked my contacts thinking maybe I'd mistakenly forgotten to put United States, but it was all entered correctly there, so it must be a glitch w/the app. Hope my device info listed above helps fix this glitch, devs? Also, devs, I would gladly pay an IAP to remove the ads! I appreciate the free app that is ad-based, but in this particular app, I'd prefer no ads - this app has a hefty handful of screen info & the ads just add too much, please consider an IAP to get rid of them? Thanks! As for the gentleman w/crashing problems, I've only had it happen once & all I had to do was use my Memory Clearing app & then it was fine. As well, some people don't realize that after the OS 5.0 update (or the purchase of the iPhone 4s), you can no longer just hit the round "Home" button @ the bottom of your devices to close out apps - you need to do that & then DOUBLE TAP the same round "Home" button & your iScreen will raise/lift/move up & show you all your open apps along the bottom, hidden underneath your iScreen. At this point, you need to press & hold down on one of them (same as if you were deleting one or moving it around on a regular screen), hold it until the red "-" signs appear & all the apps start to wiggle, then close each one out by tapping on the red "-" sign @ the top edge of each app. This will also clear your memory, but not completely. Turning the device off and back on again (AFTER doing the above), will reset your memory fully, BUT WILL NOT CLOSE ALL THE OPEN APPS, as I described above. (It's quite amazing to me how many people don't know this - it is VERY important to read the info Apple provides before each OS/iTunes update! It's all described very well in their verbiage.) Also, if my instructions are unclear, you can either visit the iTunes website for detailed info OR there are several VERY good iOS info apps available. A couple of the free ones are just as good as some paid ones, so read reviews before spending $ on a bad one! Hope this helps!

  • LOVE IT!!!!
Device info: iPhone 4S, 64GB, AT&T, iOS 6.0.3, latest app version to date 11-24-13: I LOVE the new look! Hadn't ever tried it before because I didn't like the look, but now it's much cleaner, easier to read and find what you want. As for the white icon, WHO CARES WHAT AN APP'S ICON LOOKS LIKE. Get over it people, it's a frigging icon, for Pete's sake. If you're going to base your opinion of an app off of its icon, I find that very shallow and not a person I'd want to have on my side anyway!

  • Great for parents!
Device info: iPhone 4S, 32GB, AT&T, iOS 7.0.3, latest app version to date: Revised review 1-12-14: I really wanted to use this app, but when I opened it up the first time it required me to enter my email address so it could "send me news, tips, and special offers" and I don't want that. My email is already spammed to death, by all these other apps that require email to have an account, and I'm getting tired of having to clean my emails out all the time! I have one email with over 11,000 messages because after I updated an app I forgot to go back and change the settings from their defaults, which is to email all app notifications to you, and now when I try to read my email it crashes my phone! So, it might be a great app, dev, but I don't want to supply my email for you to send me even more messages than I already have to deal with. My apologies, but I'm not sure why I have to supply an email to tell me when the sun's going to set each day? If you please wouldn't mind changing that, I will GLADLY download the app again and give it a try? Thank you, in advance, for your consideration of this. Original review: This app is an absolutely perfect app for anyone with small children, who want to hang out with their friends after school, during this time of year! Since the sun rises and sets at such different times during winter, it's always hard for me to tell my kids when to be home, since they're walking and I don't want them out walking after dark? This app totally takes care of that problem for me! I have other weather and sunrise/sunset apps, but it's really handy having one to notify me when the sun is setting so I know to look for my kids to be home. Is a perfect companion app for any parent who worries about small kids being out after dark! Thanks devs!!!!
