Slow / sluggish. Please can I chose badge icon only to show Important and unread?

The alarm simply failed to go off this morning! Very worrying. I started a system alarm 15 mins before and it was on snooze, but it is unlikely that a snooze alarm went off exactly 15mins later. The radio alarm was still set AFTER it was due to go off.

Before today's update I would have given the controller 4/5, or even 4.5/5, if I could. But you are now WASTING 2/3rds of screen real estate on something which I only need to see some of the time. I've saved some rarely-used items as favourites and there is no way I want to stare at them all of the time. At the same time you have hidden the scrubber for moving through the playing item, just as on the iPhone app. Please will you rethink on the next release? Many thanks.

As per other posters, this version is considerably worse. Screen real estate is taken up with un-necessary photos of weather and you can just get rid of that intrusive advertising: the last thing that I want to do is to click on the Autoglass site and now I keep having to be careful not to! It's my tax pounds which pay for the Met Office, so give me it straight, please! It's much less intuitive to use - you should simply revert and start again. Sorry, Met Office.

I am a paying customer: please lose the in-app ads and the wine voucher offer, for me at least!
