This game is horrible This game is horrible1. The controls are choppy 2. Your characters graphics NEVER change 3. Wth do you have to play as a warrior? 4. I killed a rat without even looking at it, c'mon! Overall this game is terrible in every way.

A terrible, terrible game. No, really -- terrible. A terrible, terrible game. No, really -- terrible. This game is appallingly bad. Even those decrepit old console-clones like Vay are better than this -- at least they have reasonably interesting (if cliché) stories. First off, this game bears about as much resemblance to Diablo as hurling a rusted bucket off a cliff bears to a rocket ship. This game is basically a thoroughly awkward AD&D port with bad graphics, horrible controls, obnoxious sound effects, and a ridiculous storyline (what little there is of it). Movement is via d-pad, yet you move in very awkward diagonals that you'll never get used to (nor see ever again in any other game). Ugh. Combat consists of tap-tap-tapping the same single button over and over again; you don't even aim. Yawn. Your character is a single fixed image that never changes, no matter your race, gear, or movements. Groan. And the character stats are unnecessarily complicated and arcane, given how simplistic and shallow everything else is. Please! Oh, and did I mention the graphics are execrable, and the sound effects grating? So if you're under 20 this will feel like tedious garbage-ware from the dank mists of ancient history, and if you're over 20, this will feel like an insulting waste of time and lack of imagination / effort. On the other hand, if, like me, you're as old as 30+, then you will find this to be as stimulating as a tax form. Or to put it another way, if your idea of a good time is stumbling aimlessly amidst an ugly, grainy landscape to the sonorous accompaniment of shrill bleeps and bongs, conducting pointless, repetitive actions, and then periodically "strategizing" over an overwrought system of gear and character points -- then by all means, by this game immediately.
