Needs improvement Needs improvementThis app functions well enough but cannot be used as my only full time mail client. On my iPad mini , the words don't wrap properly when writing an email so you end up writing off screen. You can't see what you are writing. The UI is horrible. There are better looking alternatives but they don't get the basics right. Touchdown sort of does does but choosing it is like choosing the worse of the 2 evils. I also use another product that seems to misinterpret the Exchange pin policy; it makes it more strict that the Exchange server requires. Once that is fixed I will be dropping Touchdown altogether.

Looks terrible on iPhone 6 Looks terrible on iPhone 6More than three months after the iPhone 6 was announced, TouchDown still doesn't support the phone's resolution. That makes the display look bad and the keyboard a pain to adjust to. It's a shame because the ability to sort contacts by category makes me want to love the app.

Unreliable notifications. That's a deal breaker. Unreliable notifications. That's a deal breaker. The program intermittently stops notifying. Not acceptable. Also: very ugly to begin with, and the "optimized for iPhone 4s" resolution looks pretty foul on my 6+.

Almost great Almost greatI have been using Touchdown off and on for years, ever since it came out for the original Droid. I'm now trying it for iOS on my iPhone and iPad Mini in place of MS's OWA. I like it, it works very well, most of the time. Two major problems: On the iPad Mini, you cannot create mew or reply to messages in landscape mode properly. The text does not wrap properly, making it difficult to tell exactly what you are typing. In a Reply, the original message is cut off the same way. In portrait mode, it works fine, but the layout of the reading pane is almost useless to me. On the iPhone, both the 5 and 6 using iOS 8.x, starting in landscape and then switching to portrait seems to lock the app, forcing you to kill the app. Both should be easily fixable.

Still learning the app... Still learning the app......but for an app that should mimic Outlook functionality, missing a few (using against Office 365 although I don't think that is an issue). - Recurring appointments don't let you set the every <n> duration (such as every two weeks) and when editing an appointment that uses such recurrence from another app, can't access the recurrence settings. - The category colors not retrieved from the Exchange Server as done by Outlook and OWA. - No Company name option in contact File-as - Doesn't use signature stored in Exchange - Pasting loses HTML formatting in the HTML signature - No multiple Exchange account support. Still useful for corporate account sandbox, but can't use exclusively if you have multiple accounts. - New email notification (or total unread email) via badge doesn't work, even with badge turned on.
