Great Tool for Volleyball Great Tool for VolleyballThe TapRecorder is a truly innovative iPad app which allows me to record all kinds of data on the court in real time. It has been very useful as a coaching aid for my volleyball team. The built-in PracticeStats templates for volleyball have given me a great head start on building my own library of stats for practice drills. Now I have created my own collection of TapRecordings which have allowed me to increase our team's intensity in practice. And the results are showing in our match performance.

Useful app. Great service Useful app. Great serviceDoes exactly what I need it to do and just what is promised. Super customer service When I had a technical issue with the app, it was fixed and and update to the app completed within days. There was even great follow up on my problem to make sure it was resolved. Wish list item- an easy way within the app to tie different stats together to give an overall ranking of players. I have accomplished this with a separate spreadsheet but would love to do it all instantly.

Does not work in iOS 5 on iPad 2 Does not work in iOS 5 on iPad 2After an update, TapRecorder started freezing right at the intro screen. Two updates later, it still doesn't work. I used to use it regularly at practice and in games, but it only worked for half of the season. When it did work, it crashed regularly, but I dealt with it since it was a useful app. For this cost, I expect a much higher quality software product.

Great practice program Great practice programThis is a great program for taking stats in practice. My players run over to see how they are doing every time we finish a drill we are recording. I saw a few negative reviews but I don't think they read the directions on how to transfer files from the desktop to the iPad or iPhone. You are able create new interactive forms but don't have to , you can virtually take stats on passing, serving and hitting right "out of the box". There also many different standard forms to use and I think many of the copy and paste bugs are fixed so you can transfer information from form to form. If you have a problem or a question both Jack and Gerri are great. I have been using versions of this software since 2005 and customer service has been nothing but excellent. Where else can you call or email for help and the engineer/owner gives you a call back personally. I gave it a 4/5 because some of the macros in excel for Mac don't work but again they called me personally and are already thinking of a work-around for future versions. Thanks for all of the help guys! John
