Suggestions... Suggestions...Well, allow me to begin by saying bravo. I use this software to arrange songs I enjoy for a concert band. And it works really well! It gives the of the note you're about to place, and even lets you listen to... Oh. I see. The playback feature crashes the software. I have spent upwards of 10 hours arranging "I am the Doctor" from Doctor Who for a Concert Band to play. After I got past 3 minutes into the song, attempting to listen to my work became impossible. Well, at least extremely difficult. Certainly more difficult than it should be. This is my most significant issue. There were issues with the playback before this, like getting rhythms wrong EVERY TIME, even though I had the exact same rhythm 2 measures later, and it was fine. But whatever, It's a machine. There is one this that should be added, and that's being able to send a recording to an email, which can be listened to without much hassle. Other than this, great app.

Meh-at best Meh-at bestNow I was very hopeful when I bought this app that it would be decent at best, which after using for almost a year have decided that it has somehow fallen short of that lowered expectation. It's glitchy at it's best & absolutely dreadful to useless at it's worst. The sample sounds for use are reminiscent of midi banks on a knock off brand keyboard from the 90's I once owned. Its limited capabilities as a composing program leave little room for a feel of satisfaction or for time well spent but does leave you cursing and at the brink of throwing your iPad into a nearby wall or surface in less than a thirty minute time frame of use.

Works a charm for me! Works a charm for me!I mainly use this to quickly get an idea down and then Music XML it to MuseScore. Chords Dupont translate so nicely but it works well when I'm away from my computer!

Nightmare NightmareThis app is a nightmare to use. I was a professional music copyist for 35 years (with pen & paper), but since I could do it that way, never bothered w/notation software. I've used computers for most of that time also, & am an intermediate-level self-taught programmer in a few languages. I was also fairly proficient in Pro Tools. So, I'm not a novice w/music scoring or computers, only with notation software. I spent 2 hours getting a 32-bar line down - no problem there, I expected *some* learning curve. I then started adding a bass line. Somewhere I tapped in the wrong place & my entire top line shifted an 8th note out of sync &, though I'm sure it's easy to fix if you know how, I couldn't figure out from the "help" what had gone wrong & how to fix it. So I have to start the whole thing over, 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. I could have written this by hand in pen & ink a dozen times by now. Bitterly disappointed with this app.
