Game works as advertised Game works as advertisedIf the sound doesn't work, try setting your phone to audio ring instead if vibrate. Keeping the phone on silent blocks the app audio. This game is really basic eye-hand coordination and requires the child to figure out how to use the device leveling to catch the balloons & letters. True, there is no way to lose and I didn't see any point-value incentives to capture balloons and letters but my kids love playing it regardless and it still exposes them to spelling and vocabulary in the process. They ask to play the game and it holds their attention and that's all I need!

Please fix bugs Please fix bugsHuge super why fan, however this app is less than sufficient. No sound, cannot seem to trouble shoot, and requires only motor skills to operate. Hopefully the sound being fixed will prove otherwise. Please fix or issue a refund.

Rubbish RubbishThis is rubbish! Like the other reviewer I feel duped! The first Super Why game was brilliant so I assumed this would be as it was made by the same people. There were no reviews when I bought it so I just trusted the developer. What a total waste of money it was! I won't be buying the third game. Mightily annoyed.

For your kid, not you For your kid, not youYou, as an adult, will not feel like this is worth the $1.99 you paid for it. But remember, it is for your 4-year-old. There is only one game: collecting letters as you fly through the sky. You can play as any of the four main characters. There is a single mode of interaction (tilting the device to steer left and right) that might leave some children bored after a few minutes. That also means that your child has to be holding the phone/iPad and moving it around which will probably make a lot of people nervous. The replay value is limited since it very repetitive—which is, albeit, good for learning—and the only novelty with each play is that you are collecting letters for a different word. On the plus side, the graphics and sound quality are top notch. And if your child is at just the right stage of physical coordination, ability to pay attention and interest in reading, then they will have fun with it.

Am i missing something here? Am i missing something here?I'm seriously not sure if I have this right as there is nothing on here that would interest my 3 and 5 year olds. Basically you just tilt the iphone from left to right to catch balloons and the occasional letter. When you have all the letters it spells a word... sometimes like "Friend" or "Decorate". Words that foundation level would not get and they don't use phonics. Once you've completed the word it says you can now go to a party but that basically just means the end on the game so is a huge dissappointement! Worst game I've ever bought!
