App Is Horrific App Is HorrificThe desktop version of Spider Oak is pretty good but the app is absolutely terrible. It ALWAYS crashes and/or gives me a 404 error. DO NOT rely on this if you are in the field. Find another cloud service if you need accessibility at any other place other than your office.

Needs improvement Needs improvementI would love to switch to spideroak and support a company that puts an emphasis on online privacy. But unfortunately I can't just yet because of the following: 1. Does not recognize folders within disk image on Mac 2. No option to sort by date in iOS app 3. Standard sync folder cannot be moved, workaround possible but inconvenient for setting up multiple macs/devices

Take back your privacy online Take back your privacy onlineThis app is top ranked by Snowden for keeping your contents encrypted, which will one day dawn on millions as a necessity for living a normal life. Only gripe is that it doesn't seem to sync files at all well from my Mac laptop, not sure why... Thanks all the same to the team behind this easy to use storage.

Dropbox alternative Dropbox alternativeGreat alternative to Dropbox. Encryption is thorough. Only complaint is that I do not see the option to 'Open in' Spideroak like I do with Dropbox and other apps. That may be a deal-breaker.
