Speedo Pace Club

Downloaded app to track my yardage in a fun way. I have two complaints: #1 I wasn't able to log my swims against my chosen route, and was logged out each time I tried to find a new route. #2 What's the point of having an app if it just redirects you to a desktop supported page? I ended up just deleting the app.

When (key word) the Pace Club app is working normally it's a great (albeit overly simple) tool to track your yardage and keep track of your race times. That said, every time I try to log a new swim I get an error message. I've tried force quitting and restarting the app, restarting my phone, deleting and re-downloading the app, and no luck. I've seen other reviews regarding the swim log error message so it seems this is a bug that needs fixing and not a problem with my specific account or device. The app also needs improves functionality. When logging a workout there is no option for drill or kick, only the four strokes and IM, so I'm forced to simplify my workouts to a degree that makes it hard to truly gauge my progress. And this is significantly more nitpicky, but I would really like to see the option to start or change a route within the app instead of being redirected to the website (which doesn't have a mobile version and isn't the easiest to navigate on your phone) and having to log in again. It's worth noting that it's been two years (almost to the day) since the app was last updated; I think it's high time for Speedo to make these tweaks and launch a version of the app that allows people to use it the way it was meant to be used.

I used to be a compieter in swiming for the special olympics it's too hard and competive so quit. And I should try to exersice and swim more often I just didnt find the time

Not sure what has happened. Like several other recent reviews I can't log new swims from my phone. Get a non descript "ERROR" message. Uninstalled, reinstalled to no avail. Good reviews from 2012 are misleading, that was 2 years ago .

i haven’t been able to log any workout. it gives an Error. can’t use.
