Enjoyable and interesting Enjoyable and interestingI have recently played the game CDC. This game puts you in the place of a detective and then trains you how to find the origins of an outbreak by bringing you trough fun questions and explanations. You must answer about 5 questions before the outbreak is solved. You answer these questions based on data or results. This game is quite engaging because of the fact that humans are naturally interested in diseases and because of the simple style of the game as a whole. This game really teaches the player about how and outbreak can start, spread, and be contained. The player learns about how to take data pols and about all the people you just interview to pin point the origin. I really love how the game, if you did something incorrect, teaches you why you were incorrect. I also love the extreme variety of all the levels and cases. Personally, I learned how easily diseases spread in large cities and can start simply at a food court. Another thing I enjoyed and learned is the simple, slow style of the game. This allows you to take your time and learn lots without having to be rushed. I would say that this game is on par with many top educational games are around the world. One thing it could work on though is animations. This game does not have enough animations. Animations make a break a game and there were none on this game. Over all I would give this game four and a half stars because of the reasons stated above. Give it a try if desired. You will learn tons while having s great time.

App review App reviewTo play this game (CDC), you have to become a detective. There are stages on different games. There are about 8 questions or so on one stage. To clear the stage, you have to pick the right answer from 3 answers. There are clues to answer the questions, usually 2 paragraphs. You read the paragraphs carefully to solve problems. Before I played the game, I didn't really feel how serious the diseases are. But by playing this games, I knew right away that diseases can be caused by many things, and are spreadable so easily, it could be hard to stop it. After I played this game, I was able to know that traveling is the problem to most of the diseases. If no one would have traveled, the disease wouldn't spread. Due to one person, all people could get infected, I liked how I was able to restart the game if I wanted to. The first time I played, I got a lot of them wrong, but was able to restart it and get them all correct. Something that was unique to me was how it had a lot of writing. Other games mostly doesn't have writings. Even though I liked it, it may be better if they haven pictures that would help us figure out the problem rather than huge amounts of paragraphs. I would really recommend every one to read the passage very carefully. It is challenging when people don't read it carefully, and that's what happened to me. It may be better if people read it out loud because the game connects back to some of the past passages.

Review of the game Review of the gameIn this game you are a disease detective that works for CDC (kind of like CSI), and you are trying to find out what caused the disease, by the clues that the game gives you. There are a variety of disease cases, and you can choose which one you want to play. So maybe you finish one case, and you choose another one. There are a lot of interesting cases, that intrigue your mind. In this app, it describes in detail about the place where there was the outbreak of this type of disease, and the number of people that died, or that are injured. In this game you have to use your complex thinking skills, on comprehending the clues, and understanding what you should do next. So basically the game gives you a clue, and you have to choose what to do next, in order to do that, there are 3 possible answers, and you have to choose what you think is the smartest move. If you choose the right answer, you get points. I think the purpose of the inventor of this game is to make people understand more about diseases, and how they are caused. I think it's really educational, because you are learning more about the disease, what they are, and how they are caused. Also it makes people understand how many diseases are going on in different countries. By this app, you can understand more about how you can actually get diseases. Overall, I really liked this app, also because today it's really hard to find an actual game, where you can learn from it. When I first started playing this game, I was a little bit confused, because I chose a cause, and it started talking about a bacteria that might have caused this disease. This bacteria had a really fancy name, so I was like: "what is this bacteria?!". But then I noticed a definition button, and by than button, I was able to understand more about this certain type of bacteria or germ, and how they exist. In my opinion, I think that the clues are a little bit hard to comprehend, so you have to read it a couple of times for you to actually understand. Rather than that, it's not a boring game, and it keeps you engaged, and making your brain to always think, and this could also improve your reading comprehensions skills, when we are reading a story, doing homework, or just reading a website. I recommend this app, to people that really like being a detective, and to find answers about a mystery that happened. Also, I think that this app makes people understand, how sometimes being a detective is hard, because you really have to think about the evidence you have. It makes those people that want to become detectives understand that they really have to examine the clues they have, and to infer, on what might have happened. This app also made me understand how sometimes, laboratories take a really long time to analyze blood or bacteria. So this made me think, that we should do something about it, because it takes too much time. I think, that this game is for everyone that want to test their knowledge, based on clues, or just people that want to lean more about diseases. Honestly, I don't want to be a detective, but playing this game, made me kind of like this job. My recommendation is to read the clues twice, so that you can understand well, and it will be easier for you to answer the questions. Also, I suggest that if you don't know a word, or a bacteria, you should click the definition box, because it really helps you understand more about the disease.
