Nice improvement to an already cool app.

Excellent news app. Very diverse, user friendly and no hidden costs. Great blog source too! I've never had trouble with this app.

Lower Haight resident. Late August, 2013. My neighborhood smells like smoke from the Rim Fire in Yosemite. It has caused us to shut down two of three hydroelectric plants and threatens the Hetch Hetchy reservoir which could result in a loss of power and water for all of San Francisco. Headlines cover SFGate.com. Where are the articles on the SFGate app? I do a search for fire and it returns nothing. This app does NOT cover the actual newspaper headlines! This is a travesty! DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP! It does not represent the actual publication! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

The weather tab stopped working several weeks ago. I deleted the app and downloaded it again, but it still gives an error message every time. Is this ever going to be fixed??

Badly edited articles, missing articles, repeats, readability issues, weather page is broken and just displays an sfgate error message.... And more. I can't believe a major newspaper app has this many problems. In contrast, Sfgate.com is great! So why can't they execute on their app??
