But, it is the fashion for which Qvest is best known and this issue does not disappoint. Amongst the most notable of many fashion features are Stefan Gifthaler's oddly-named 'Soviet Swimming' that places luxury women's fashion from the likes of Maison Martin Margiela, Miu Miu and Frankie Morello, amongst others, into the brutalist concrete shell of a socialist swimming pool. It's an ethereal exercise in contemporary luxury floating to the surface through a haze of time-aged colours. On the menswear front, Lukas Spitaler's very direct shoot takes the Viking looks of model Berthold Rothas and reinvents then as a contemporary dandy in an equally luxurious selection of brands. And, for those who have more than merely a visual interest in fashion, there's a telling interview with Marios Schwab, the expatriate talent who has been making a name for himself ever since basing his operations in London.
This being Qvest, as usual, the issue is also packed full of informative short features, everything from the current trends in cosmetics to reviews of the most interesting books on art, design and architecture or pop music currently on the store shelves.
