This app really does work, I had a hospital pulse ox on one hand and this on the other, they were identical. You must place it on a flat surface with your (or other's) finger tip under the light, holding the phone in your hand gives you an inaccurate reading.

I was skeptical and let me just say that I should have known better. Pulse is of 50 and pulse ox of 95.1%. My desk had a pulse of 36 and a pulse ox of 98%! I want my $1.99 back!!!!

On buying this, I knew it wouldn't be professional quality, however not only is it unprofessional, but it's not the least bit accurate. Cool idea, not worth purchasing.
