Third update: It's 77 in my home. The Opower program says it's 70. I have tried repeatedly to turn on the air, but it just reverts back to power off. I'm sick, feverish, and tired of writing reviews that complain about its lack of connection. Second update: After using it for years, still the same problem. That's not right so removing another star. First feedback: It isn't saving my changes when I send them the first time. After a few tries I can get it to stick, but it's frustrating to turn it off, put my phone in the charger, lay down, and hear the A/C compressor kick on. I'm on an 802.11ac network with great reception, so I'm thinking the issue isn't the connectivity.

What can I say about this app??? What can I say about this app???

It doesn't work half of the time always gives wrong temperatures and keeps resetting it self to the previous settings. When the unit is off it says it's on.

Worse app ever Worse app ever

Where to start? This app never works always tells me can't connect to thermostat. Program settings don't hold and app has a mind of its own. Readings are off by several degrees. Customer service is bad also they never answer your questions or even update the app. Don't use this app.

App isn't working since last update App isn't working since last update

I wasn't able to turn on the heater from my app. Even though I set it to home and tried adjusting the temp manually the app reverted to my normal schedule temp while I'm away. I was able to turn on the heater at the wall unit. Please fix this issue. When working properly this is a 4-5 star app - once fixed my rating for it will go back up. UPDATE: All fixed. Great job fixing it very quickly. UPDATE: Please fix. Same issues all over again! Back to 1 star for now

Love the OPower App! Love the OPower App!

Love being able to control the temp of my house remotely and understand exactly how the temp I choose has $$ consequences. I like the AC cold, and I'm not going to change, but when I go out for the day it remembers to let the AC rest while I'm away, but cools the place down before I get home. So cool!! (Npi)
