Techweek’s mission is to showcase, celebrate and enable emerging innovation ecosystems. Started as a small event grown out of Chicago’s innovative tech scene, last year’s conference was kicked off by Mayor Rahm Emmanuel and featured speakers from local hero, Jason Fried of 37signals, to tech heavy hitters, Travis Kalanick of Uber and Leah Busque of TaskRabbit. Now in its third year, Techweek Chicago, June 27-29 at the Merchandise Mart, is the largest technology conference and expo in the Midwest, and culminates a full week of partner-sponsored and related events. Events vary from our annual VIP CEO Cocktail Party, attended by the Mayor in 2012, to a captivating runway Fashion Tech Show. Our participating companies will be as diverse as large tech companies to stealth startups launched in the past month.
