Worthless cause it doesn't work Worthless cause it doesn't workI would give it a zero but there is no option for that. Map loads but radar doesn't work with exception of the clouds feature, which doesn't tell you where the rain is. Images are very pixelated even with the radar smoothing set to on. I've tried wi do and cellular. Says internet connection too slow. I am trying to run this app on a brand new iPhone 5s with latest updates. I've tried the app troubleshooting and the apple troubleshooting. Doesn't work.

Not a Weather Channel copycat Not a Weather Channel copycatSome effort truly went into their, gadgets, modes, and various radar screens. Too many apps just repeat whatever the weather channel says which is to vague, changes way to many times a day, and is too generalized. Great app!

Favorite to only weather reference Favorite to only weather referenceI live near an airport on the other side of 1000 foot hill. I can walk along the road alongside the airport runway between storm cells and actually watch adiabatic cells form as weather moves over the hill and towards the expense of the airport. The cells start throwing rain as they condense and darken... Why do I mentioned this? Within a few minutes of formation of these cells which start to rain on me as I walk, the dark green in this app starts to form. For close-ups I can expand the map until I see just the area around the airport. I usually select composite radar to get the best resolution close up. That tells me the update rate of the composite radar is delayed just a few minutes. I can look across the airport and see dark clouds raining to my north. These are also very easy to find on the map display and I can tell exactly where it's raining both by looking across the runway and by looking at my phone. Guess which one I trust more? The information on my phone is a birds eye view and much more accurate than my guess from the ground. Move over 747 drivers! Now I can steer clear of storm cells with radar right on my iPhone!! To the guys trying to see stinger (tornado) formation on the tail end of anvil clouds, I know a few minutes delay isn't much help... and I hope I never find out if the radar can resolve the stingers. But the fact that I experience a few minutes delay suggests that this isn't the tornado warning app you're looking for. You can probably resolve the location of the storm cell, but somebody needs to add some software to show potential stinger formation and in your areas I think you have a great idea and a great opportunity to upgrade the radar and software to whatever is needed!!!
