Since they sold the quality of the service and updates has deteriorated. Shame what money does to people.

This would be a perfect app to have a notification widget

I'll agree with a lot of these reviews. When I bought my NEST over a year ago it worked fantastic. It was flawless! Now? There seems to be a new app update every so often that "fixes bugs"...yet half the time now it just says my thermostat is offline. I'll know it's not working when all of a sudden I'm cold in my house and I can't connect to the NEST with my app. Wifi works fine, hell even if comcast drops their service I can still connect to it on local wifi (that is if the app doesn't tell me it's offline)....but ever since these updates the App has gone downhill. Next time a stable app update comes out I'm turning off automatic updates.

Mine is always offline too. Terrible App. Going to red rid of my Nest if this isn't fixed soon.

Simply put, this app does not work. It won't connect to the thermostats, claiming they are "offline". So much promise, so little delivery. Google screws the pooch yet again.
