Great for common core Great for common coreThe graphics are beautiful, and there is just enough information to encourage discussions prior to more in-depth reading about Manifest Destiny. The app sets the stage for comparing and contrasting movement to the continental west during The mid-1800s to today. I will definitely plan to use this in my classroom.

Needs an update Needs an updateThe app is great when working well. I think it needs an update. The app is starting to enlarge when opened. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. It's still not working. When it works it is fantastic.

Worthless WorthlessThis app has serious flaws. It is not interactive at all. When launched, the app is enlarged with the inability to shrink down the size. Such a disappointment! I guess I won't be using this in the classroom this upcoming school year.

I liked it I liked itIt was like a mini refresher course. It would be nice if it were fleshed out more. I'd pay. In-app purchase??

Manifest . . . Oh! Manifest . . . Oh!Most of the elementary school students I taught 12 years ago would have lost interest when they saw "Columbia" floating above a landscape that is reminiscent of social studies textbook illustrations . . . George W. Bush would have loved this app . . . simple with minimal attention span required. The app took a very long time to download considering the limited amount of content. The narrator . . . maybe see if Tommy Lee Jones needs some extra work. I'm still waiting for the Autry's other app "Women on he Move" to finish loading . . .
