Love it but crashes Love it but crashesSomeone else wrote the same complaint I have. Every time my kids try to send post it crashes. This is a big feature of the game and the kids are often frustrated by it. Would rate 5 stars if this were fixed. I have a 6 year old and a 4 year old, and they particularly love the songs and nursery rhymes. I love the touches of social studies they get with the app as well.

Repeated crashes Repeated crashesRepeatable crashes in Pigeon Post. Very frustrating for 6yr old daughter writing grandpa (and for dad who paid for subscription to Bebe able to do this). Was great when it worked.

Good reading lessons with lots of annoying smarmy marketing Good reading lessons with lots of annoying smarmy marketingOn the upside, the reading lessons on Homer are well done, my 3-year-old likes them, and the app has a nice UI. Getting to the reading lessons, however, is an ordeal of marketing and run-around nonsense. You open the app and want to go to reading lessons? Nope. You are first required to go to the "Pigeon Post" to receive a "personalized" letter. That takes you out of the app and to the website if you make the mistake of actually agreeing to receive the "post". (This little trick is a running problem throughout the app.) To avoid a foray out of the app, hit the back button. Now all you need to do is select the Learn to Read option. Easy, right? Nope. You have to scroll through several other options before you can get to Learn to Read, which is the only thing I want from the app. Homer is already getting my $96 a year. I would vastly prefer to get what I paid for without all sorts of marketing nonsense that it assaults you with.

Didn't load Didn't loadI downloaded the app but for some reason it never loaded after I input my info it just stood spinning trying to load.
