limited OCR, crashing anyways limited OCR, crashing anywaystheres only 5 languages that it recognizes (english, german, dutch, french, and italian). and if its in japanese or any other languages, it wont be able to. also, it took me 4 times to get past it crashing every time it would snap a picture. then it crashed a few more times while trying to select a part of the language. and this is what it gave me with the language set to english, and it was english (arial font, size 14)... Surprisingly not as bad as expected Surprisingly not as bad as expectedThe OCR seems to somewhat work (biggest flaws are not processing hyphenated lines ending in split-words into their normal single word form and the lack of a grammar context filter).

BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANTThis app does exactly what I would want. Simple, clean, and just the options you'd want. Being able to select part of the image is very helpful. Copy to clipboard is great. It does have some issues such as always seeing 'w' as 'W' (capitaliziing), not recognising '"' (quotation marks), and putting carriage returns/line breaks at the end of every line. and no rotation. But it is free, powerful, and using the photo option allows you to recognize text from ANYWHERE, screen grabs especially. LOVE IT!

I Can't Believe This App is Free I Can't Believe This App is FreeThis is the only ocr app to download. For one, it actually works, which is way more than I can say for the other apps that aren't free. And, it's free, which is a crime, because the developer should be charging for this great software. Just get the app.
