"A Knights Devotion".. With horrible artwork "A Knights Devotion".. With horrible artworkI played through "A Knight's Devotion" before I stumbled on this, and loved almost every episode. I downloaded this app, started the prologue, (and recognized the background music and landscapes from AKD) and OH MY GOD, MY EYES CAN'T STAND THE PAIN! The character "artwork" looks like someone used a light box to trace historical photographs, and forgot to make sure the end product didn't look like a giant blob with eyes. Practically every character picture that I could find looks like the character is missing parts of their skeletal structure. I'm sorry, I can't get past this horrid, half-assed artwork, so this is going to be deleted. I'll just replay "A Knight's Devotion."

Total Clone Total CloneStory is completely ripped off from 'A Knight's Devotion'. Buy that game instead. Better graphics by a longshot.

A Few Good Routes Marred by Poor Art A Few Good Routes Marred by Poor ArtGeneral comments: blah prologue and painful art – stained glass window meets Picasso with none of the positives of either. Now, on to the individual routes: Jacques Route: recommended; the MC has brains and initiative while still fitting the setting; the word choice and syntax are spot-on; Jacques is interesting. Henri Route: recommended; again, the MC has brains and initiative, and the word choice and actions make the story feel believable; Henri's personal plot interested me more than Jacques'. The Suitor Spin-Off: recommended; MC and Henri feel believable in what could have been a very cheesy, face-palming situation; my only complaint is the lack of ending variations. Henri Sequel: YMMV; I still like the characters, but the MC's intelligence and political knowledge felt at odds with her “I can do it all and am RIGHT” choices; she veers very close to Mary Sue territory. Nicolas Route: not recommended; I never believed the romance; all the knights are horrible at their jobs; the MC is treated as a young child; awkward writing and editing abound.
